According to the news Pink said, "The Grammys was for me, it was my a-ha moment. It was one of those nights where you're looking back and you're talking to your grandkids and you're like, 'Yeah, I had that night where everyone stood up and I felt awesome'".

The Associated Press: How does it feel to release a retrospective at this point in your career?
Pink: I definitely had mixed feelings. (Laughs.) You know what? I'm happier now than I was when it was first being talked about. I had been putting it off for years, although that sounds pretty funny. I don't feel old enough, I guess.
AP: What made you decide to finally do it?
Pink: At the end of the day, when I get out of my own way, which is what I had to do, it's something to really be proud of, because when I was a little girl, all I wanted to do was make one hit record. To be able to put out an album full of them is pretty damn special.
AP: Over the last year, you've gotten more acclaim. What's your reaction?
